All good things must come to an end my friends. Such was the case with the program I've done with Tim for the past two years on WTDY. We really had a blast and I want to thank all of you who made the show very special. I'm sure my good friend Sly will take the ball and run with it.
After 35 years of getting up, off and on at 3:30am, I'm looking forward to watching some Letterman and seeing the sun rise. Day-one felt pretty good.
Thanks again and I'll miss talking with you. I've already moved on to the next thing and all is well here.

Dear Glen:
This caught me by surprise.
I should let you know that of the 50 or so media interviews and presentations I have been involved with regarding my work in Iraq, the interview on your show was right up in the top couple experiences - thoughtful, meaningful, enjoyable.
Thanks again for your excellent interview.

Much good luck and fortune to you Glen. Letterman does rock and you can sleep until the sun comes up if you wish.
F %&*$#@* K 'EM, GLEN !!!! ;
F %&*$#@* K 'EM, TIM !!!!
thanks so much for the morning news and entertainment.

What Happened? Why does this station make such drastic switches, without preparing the audience? Is Tim no longer with WTDY.
Glen and Tim were always my morning "calm" whether I was in heavy traffic or running late. They made sure I was mellowed out by the time I arrived to work. I got to find another Glen & Tim cause Sly just gets me pissed
It was my morning show of choice! I even called in a few times in the last couple years. Liked the topics you teed up every hour.
To say that I a disappointed would be a massive understatement.
Only in radio can the suits decide that your most talented and experienced people should go because of other disastrous decisions made by the company.
For the longest time I have believed that the local company was better than the national chain. Perhaps we are now turning the corner and the local companies are lowering their behavioral standards to match those of the national chains.
Glen and Tim, good look to both of you. You are extremely talented, and I am sure you will be ok.
As far as Tom Walker and the boys, I have lost all respect I had for you. As an advertiser with Midwest Family, I am going to have to really consider whether I want to keep supporting a company that behaves this way.

Glen,
I am so upset that this happened. You and Tim are the sole reason I began listen to WTDY when I moved here a couple of years ago. I never used to listen to morning shows because I always found the hosts to be so obnoxious. You and and Tim are so different. I have always enjoyed the dynamic of your show. You guys are funny, wittty, down to earth and very sensible. I didn't realize how attached I became to the daily routine of listening to you guys on the way to work until this happened. What a shame WTDY didn't recognize your value. I cannot believe you fell victim to the melting!! Who would have thunk it?? I hope you at least got to take a bagel box with you :)
You have so many fans, so please leave an update of where you go. I would love nothing more than to hear you on the radio again soon. It has been a privilege to spend the past couple of years listening to your show every day, and the mornings are just not the same anymore. You are sorely missed.
Best Wishes,

I was shocked Wednesday morning when you guys were not on the air! Creepy Sly was in your place. I was depressed the whole day--in fact, I still am. I have a hard time listening to WTDY any more, even the Wisconsin Guys. It seems very unfair who they got rid of (you and Eric Greenfield)--GREAT talent. Glen, you were such a warm and gentle soul, and Tim, you were funny and witty. LOVE YOU BOTH AND MISS YOU!!!
I would like to echo the feelings of the others here. What a rude awankening to hear Sly instead of Glen & Tim! It would have been nice to have a little heads up. I miss the "winner, winner, bagel dinner" as well as the great conversations. Nothing against Sly, but I would take you two anyday instead. Take care, and know that you are very much missed.
Glen, I'm really sorry to have found out that you & Tim were let go from WTDY. Sounds like you prepared in advance by having something else going on "just in case" for which I'm glad. The way I found out I didn't like and in listening to Tom Walker on the 20th answer questions about it. Gave me some answers but really didn't help that much. To find Sly in your place left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. I don't like Sly never have never will. I only tune in now for the news. The less I have to listen to that radio station the better. I have a blog on here also, I'll be putting my thoughts down in a day or two. My hands are a bit cold to type just now. Good luck in the future. Please keep up your blog. That's a way you can still keep in touch with us "fans"
I too was shocked to hear Sly. I don't mind Sly's energy, I'm just not big on getting all hopped up early in the morning. I like the atmosphere of Glen and Tim.
I also really liked Tim's method of telling the news. Not too serious, not too cynical. Just right.
Glen, will this blog go away? Got a new one we can follow?
Does Tim do the Internet?
Well, Orr, I'm glad that you and Yossarian made it to that neutral country.
How did you get your buddy Yossarian to fly with you? All the pedaling has paid off. Hope the bagels last.
Darrell
Too bad. IU really liked your show.
I was hoping that Sly was just a vacation fill-in. I never can stay with his show for very long. He acted like he was high or something the day I listened to him.
I'm sure you'll land on your feel. Keep us posted.
Thanks much
